Arts and crafts for survival

In the past, the women on Lake Poopó were already organized in arts and crafts associations. The Kay Pacha project helps approximately 200 women to improve the quality of their products and to gain easier market access. A mutual network is being created to strengthen every single women’s organization. Moreover, they are taught their rights as women and as indigenous peoples in workshops.
